This is a view of my setup on 8 Jun 04 as I photographed the transit of Venus. We've come a long way since the days of Capt. Cook!

The pictures shows my Meade SN6 with my ATK-2HS camera in the focuser. The camera is connected to my laptop computer which is busily taking movies of Venus crossing the sun.

Not attached for this session is my 80mm Orion guidescope/finder.

A JMI moto-focuser is attached and the focus controller is dangling.

This was just a fun picture I took on a whim. It shows the laptop as it takes a movie of Venus transiting the sun. The software open is K3CCDTools2.
